Cellulose reduces settlements and is used to advantage as easy filling in roads. Motorways or small individual roads can all have better stability with the help of foam. BEWI offers blocks in different strength classes, all of which meet the Swedish Road Administration’s requirements. The blocks are easy to handle- a normal block weighs only 30-40 kg.

Light filling is a thicker base plate that is used to raise the ground level on ground where vehicular traffic does not occur to any great extent, e.g. driveway, garage driveway and patios. Areas that must be cleared of snow are exposed to significantly more frost than snow-covered ground. Asphalt cracks and paved surfaces become uneven and lumpy. Frostbite damage can make garage doors difficult to open. The problems are effectively counteracted by insulating the ground with cellular plastic
