We recommend sealing the joint between the framework of the building and the BalPol sandwich panel with special self-adhesive expanding joint tape. Such tape prevents the formation of thermal bridges, evens out the contact path, seals the joint and performs as an acoustic insulation.
The joints and connections between sandwich panels should be filled with mounting PU-foam before fixing the flashings. PU-foam prevents thermal bridges and environmental damage for the panels.
Open ends of sandwich panels should be sealed with self-adhesive aluminium-butyl rubber tape before mounting the flashing. It helps to ensure the longevity of the panel, prevents from the negative impact of UV light and water.
