This certification shows that Thermomur® has been rigorously assessed and meets NHBC’s robust Standards. It also demonstrates that subject to appropriate design and installation, the system can be used in homes covered by all NHBC’s warranty products.

Thermomur® can be used with an Atlas® Foundation System, further improving the thermal performance.

Properties built using Thermomur® achieve PassiveHouse standards. The build is very fast with less mechanical equipment needed on site and reduced H&S risk. The result is a building with an outstanding thermal and acoustic performance with insulated structural walls and floors for residential and commercial buildings.

Introducing this innovative technology to the UK, ICF Building Solutions can draw upon the expertise of some of the world’s most renowned international ICF construction specialists. The Thermomur® ICF building system is composed of molded blocks of expanded polystyrene (EPS). The lightweight Thermomur® blocks are easy to work with and enable rapid, sturdy construction on-site by stacking them like bricks, reinforcing them, and then filling them with concrete.

To complement our Thermomur® ICF building system blocks, Jackodur® Atlas made of XPS (extruded polystyrene) foam can be used for an efficient thermal insulation and formwork system for foundation floor slabs as a complete building system.
