Protecting people and goods for a better everyday

BEWI is a leading international provider of packaging, components and insulation solutions. The commitment to sustainability is integrated throughout the value chain, from production of raw materials and end goods to recycling.

Since the outset in 1980 on the island Frøya off the coast of central Norway, the dedication to creating value to our customers, the society and our owners has established BEWI as a driving market force by offering sustainable solutions in innovative and efficient ways. Guided by the vision to protect people and goods for a better everyday we are leading the change towards a circular economy.

Vision — Protecting people and goods for a better everyday

Our vision is our reason for being. It is a higher purpose that gives everyone at BEWI a shared objective and sets us apart.

It means taking responsibility and adapting our business to tomorrow’s expectations. We are already on our way. Today BEWI collects and recycles several thousand tonnes of packaging, insulation and packaging. By managing the entire value chain – from raw materials to finished product and back to raw materials – we can close the loop and lead the change towards a circular economy. Getting there won’t be easy. We need to be more committed and innovative than ever before, but we are already good on our way.

Mission — Creating value by offering sustainable packaging, components and insulation solutions in innovative and efficient ways

Today our products protect and insulate everything from fish and vegetables to fragile products. BEWI innovations are used in walls, roofs and floors, under streets and roads and in bridges.

Sustainability is our strategic driver. Sustainability doesn’t just come from the raw materials we use, but also from product and design development, production processes, use and re-use systems. By combining technology and innovation with production and operational know-how, we will develop new, sustainable areas for our raw materials and products. That’s how we will lead the change towards a circular economy.
